Hello, all! Today's video is not only Day 24 of the Holiday Card Series, but it's also part of a blog hop celebrating Simon Says Stamp's DieCember release. For my card, I used the new Birch Column die to create a glittery shaker card.
I cut the die out of Neenah Solar White card stock, adhered acetate on the back and then assembled the shaker area.
Because I planned to use IndigoBlu Unicorn Sparkle Glitter inside the shaker, I made sure to use one continuous piece of foam tape to create the shaker. By using only one piece of foam, the likelihood of glitter getting out of the cracks is less since there is only one weak point. I also included some 8mm and 5mm Crystal sequins from Darice inside the shaker.
The watercolor piece behind the glitter and sequins was watercolored using Peerless Watercolors. I used colors from the basic pack as well as the bonus pack.
